Barracuda Lake, Coron Palawan
Don’t miss barracuda lake when visiting coron island, the lake is really great going there is very challenging you need to climb the rocky path before you see the lake. The lake big, great place to swim also.

Banol Beach at Coron Islands Palawan
Our next destination was Banol Beach, it is a small beach good enough for 20 – 25 person. But you will amazed with it because the sand is really soft and white. According to our companion who have been in Boracay told us that the sand is softer than the sand of Boracay.
Don’t forget to ask your tourist guide when you visit Coron Island to drop you at Banol Beach a good place to eat lunch. The water is crystal clear great place to swim.
Here are the pictures I got in the place, sorry I forgot to took a picture at the sand…
I hope you like all these pictures I got from Banal Beach at Coron Island Palawan. Our next destination was Baracado Lake, so watch out for the next post don’t miss it.

Kayangan Lake of Coron Island Palawan
As I mentioned on my previous post, at the first day of our trip to Coron Island we decided to visit one of the attraction of Coron Island which is Kayangan Lake. As I show you from my previous post the beauty of the place on our way, that is nothing to what I have seen when we arrived the Kayangan Lake.
The place is maintain and guarded by the Tagbanua minority group. According to our tour guide Kayangan Lake is part of the Tagbanua ancestral domain water.
Before see the beautiful lake we need to climb the hill, with very narrow stair. It will take 10-15 minutes climbing before you reach the beautiful lake.
Finally after 10 minutes of climbing the hill , we have reach the beautiful lake of Kayangan. The color of the water is very clear , there are many other group of foreign and local tourist enjoying the place and can’t resist the water of the lake. The lake is walled by beautiful lime stone I guess, which was form by thousand of year.
Ahhh I can’t think good words to describe the place and what I feel while we are there so I will show you the pictures I have taken and enjoy viewing them.
More kayangan lake pictures to come later, as this post so many pictures already. I want to show you everything I have seen in the place.
Coron Island Beautiful Sea and Places
At the day we arrived at Coron Islands Palawan, we are excited to see the hidden beauty of this Paradise Island. Even we are tired for the 12 hours voyage we decided to go to our first destination in the Island. We 5 place destination all in Coron visinity but we need to ride Banka (local boat) to reach the beautiful places in the area.
On our way I was really amazed to what I have seen. I am leaving at urban area so I never expected that there still a place like what I saw in our way to Kayangan Lake our first destination.
The water is color Blue maybe because it’s deep, but the water is really clear and very peaceful. I have taken lot of pictures on our way, islands, mountains, lime stone mountain and more.
I can’t think a nice word to picturized or describe the place, I have been in so many beautiful places in the Philippines but I have never seen a place like this before. I will say Coron Island Palawan is a hidden paradised hope that soon will not urbanized to maintain it’s beauty.
Here are some pictures I have taken while in the boat.

Coron Island Palawan here we come
This is an unplanned vacation to one of the best tourist destination in the Philippines. I and my wife not really expected or planned to visit Coron Island Palawan very soon because our first priority in mind is Boracay. But my wife grand mother already planned to visit Coron Island together with her friends. She ask us to go with her in Coron so that she have companion. To make the story short, we agreed to go with her in Coron Island for a vacation.
The group agreed to go to Coron Islands via Supper Ferry financial wise according to them, but we traveled for more than 12 hours before we arrive the Coron Port. You can go to the island by plane and it will take more or less than 30 minutes via Busuanga Airport. I guess SEAir is the local air company providing the service.
We leave Pier 15 at Manila at around 5 PM and we travel by sea trough Super Ferry ship for 12 hours or more.
To be honest it’s my first time to visit a place by sea (ship). At first I feel little bit dizzy , but while the ship go on , I later found out that it’s comfortable to ride ship. There are 2 restaurant in the ship one for economy and one for first class. Food are good in the ship and affordable I guess.
Bur if you ask me what is the best way to go to Coron Island, I suggest that you go via airplane bound to Busuanga , then take bus bound to Coron Island. Trip will take 2 hours according to the locals.
Finding place to stay in the area is not that hard there so many places to stay and take note all of the people in the place are very kind, helpful, and friendly.
Here are some pictures we got during our 12 hours trip to Coron Islands
